Security Technical Program Manager | Fully remote | Permanent | up to $170k usd + tokens

  • Working on hundreds of open-source projects with their decentralised storage network that aims to preserve vital information using emerging technologies
  • Their peer-to-peer network stores files on a decentralised network which is maintained by thousands of organisations and people globally

The role:

  • First significant hire in the security team, responsible for growing and leading the security team
  • Advocate for continuous security improvements
  • Identify and evaluate security risks and areas for improvement
  • Proactively developing initiatives to improve the network (Bug Bounty etc)
  • Overseeing and leading the security team across the ecosystem
  • Manage security audits to assess vulnerabilities
  • Relationship management with key stakeholders on security of the ecosystem
  • Develop response to vulnerable information and escalation path for security issues
  • Manage security programs (Bug Bounty, emergency response etc)
  • Structure and execute threat-simulation, security information and attack prevention

Requirements:

  • Web3 knowledge is a MUST
  • Experience leading security teams is a MUST
  • Expertise interacting with security auditors and pentesters is a MUST
  • InfoSec experience, developing/enforcing policies around permissioning, incident response, data protection etc
  • Strong experience with distributed networks and network security
  • Experience working with infrastructure teams and software engineers
  • Familiarity with open-source projects
