Head of Engineering – Europe, +/- 4 hours

Plexus is actively seeking an innovative and forward-looking Head of Engineering who has a demonstrated history of successfully guiding products from conceptualisation to delivery.

Our client leverages its high-performance blockchain network and DeFi trading tools to empower users on their cryptocurrency trading journey. Upon joining the team, you will work closely with the CTO, overseeing the global software engineering division. Your role will involve steering the development of both current and future products, ensuring their successful journey from inception to implementation.

What you will do:

• Oversee the global software engineering team.
• Lead the development of current and future products from concept to delivery.
• Ensure the blockchain infrastructure runs efficiently and all development efforts are high quality.
• Ensure the engineering team meets project deadlines.
• Stay up to date with the latest blockchain technologies.
• Handle any critical technical problems and strategically deliver high performing solutions.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of Golang experience.
• Deep knowledge of Blockchain technology.
• Previous management experience.
• Understanding of API’s.

Nice to have:

• Experience developing road maps.
