Lead Brand Designer – $100k – $130k – Permanent (Remote)

Plexus is working with an exciting web3 startup design agency that are empowering revolutionary products in the domains of the blockchain industry. They have worked with a range of the top companies within the blockchain space and are looking to bring on a Lead Brand Designer to join the team!

Their preference leans towards colleagues who are able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize collaboration over competition, and show a deep passion for design.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of projects for the brand team and manage client communication.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
• Develop and establish a strong visual identity that complements the brand, encompassing elements like illustrations, icons, colour schemes, typography, animations, etc., and oversee all aspects of brand design for projects.
• Work closely with UX designers to ensure a unified and consistent brand experience across Marketing and Product departments.
• Iterate consistently on concepts to maintain the brand’s relevance and relatability to our target audience.
• Illustration or graphic design would be a plus

Requirements:

• A portfolio highlighting expertise in brand and visual design, underscored by a refined design aesthetic.
• Proficient in articulating conceptual ideas and justifying design decisions effectively
• Participate actively in constructive design evaluations and discussions.
• Capable of independent work, adept at task prioritization, and quick iteration
• Strong communication abilities, with a willingness to communicate openly and comprehensively.
• Proficiency in prototyping using preferred tools such as Figma, Illustrator, etc.
• Self-driven, able to work autonomously, while also open to collaboration and motivated by group feedback.
