Plexus are working with a dynamic and innovative start up in the African financial space, focused on promoting sustainable yield and equitable, flexible financing for small businesses.

Position Overview:

Utilising crypto liquidity, they create working capital to support small businesses in new and emerging markets. They are currently looking for a senior Backend engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Working to solve backend performance and scaling issues
• Use of statically typed languages (Java, Scala or Kotlin)
• Working with REST API design

Requirements

• 4+ years experience working on production-ready code
• 4+ years professional development in Java/Scala or Kotlin
• Professional experience using relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server)
