Data Engineer

Data Engineer $150k+ USD On site in Toronto, Canada

Plexus have partnered with one of the leading crypto native VC funds to source an experienced Data Engineer to join their team.

What you will do: – Build an optimised data pipeline and architecture for intaking, processing and storing large volume of data from GitHub. – Maintaining the data warehousing solutions, using both traditional and emerging technologies. – Develop and maintain data processing workflows using languages such as Python and/or Rust.

Requirements: – On site in the office in Toronto, Canada – 4+ years experience as a Data Engineer or similar roles (dealing with large-scale data pipelines and architectures) – Strong experience in Python – Strong experience with relational databases (such as: PostgreSQL, MySQL and etc) – Familiar with Apache Spark, DuckDb, Clickhouse and/or Hadoop – Experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift and/or Google BigQuery

Nice to have (not essential): – Experience with Rust – Experience in Web3 – Experience with web scraping
