Rust Engineer

Rust Engineer  United States – Remote | Competitive Salary 

Plexus have partnered with a leading company in Web3 infrastructure scaling blockchains. 

They are looking for an accomplished Rust developer willing to work on the bleeding edge of blockchain technology.  

Responsibilities  •    Working on open-source repositories covering areas including RPC endpoints, light clients, developer tooling, and infrastructure.  •    Working on smart contract development in Rust/Solidity.  •    “Skunkworks” mentality – move fast, looking at cutting edge technologies and given a high degree of autonomy.  •    Define own architecture and parameters for new projects.  •    Stay up to date and explore new developments in cryptography and blockchain. 

Requirements •    Proficiency in Rust.  •    3+ years’ experience in software development. •    Prior experience working in Web3.  •    Knowledge of EVM or alternative blockchain virtual machines.   •    Experience or deep understanding in L2s, zk, or other areas of advanced cryptography.  •    Located in USA.
